Chelmsford 3rd XV 7 Basildon 2nd XV 19

For the second year running Chelmsford Development XV travelled to Finals day in the main cup competition of Division 4 East.

Against close rivals Basildon, a fine selection of old and new gathered at Rochford RFC.

Unfortunately a enthusiastic Basildon side attacked well and defended resolutely outscoring Chelmsford three tries to one.

A very successful season will hopefully see promotion when the new leagues are issued for the 2024/25 season.
