Rochford U15s 0 - Chelmsford U15s 39

Despite only playing the club a few weeks before in the league, the Chelmsford u15s paid a second visit to Rochford for the first round of the Essex Cup as the Chelmsford boys attempt to retain the No1 cup for a third straight season.

Chelmsford got off to a blistering start and scored two tries in the first two minutes of the game. Many teams would have buckled but the Rochford boys showed great fight and took the game to Chelmsford. However, Chelmsford continued to build the pressure and scored steadily over the first half. The game was called shortly into the second half as the maximum points difference was reached.

The next round of the cup is scheduled for the 26th November (opposition TBC)
