Having beaten Westcliff in the previous round, it was a confident u15s team that made the trip to Basildon for this quarter final Essex Cup clash. The Chelmsford defence dominated the game from the kick off and penned Basildon within their own half for much of the 60 minutes. Despite scoring 4 tries, it was an error strewn performance with ball in hand with the Chelmsford boys squandering countless chances in the opposition 22.
The boys now face Eton Manor, Thurrock or Woodford in the semi-final in Feb.
