Friday night will see the annual Cookie Cup as our veteran Undertakers take on local rivals Braintree RFC's own vets. This floodlit game will kick off at 7.30pm and the club will open from 7pm so you can get the drinks flowing before kick off!

The Blue Boys XV will host their first home game of the season on Saturday 28 September 2019 and what better way to encourage them, than to taunt them with booze from the side lines! We all know winners have drinks bought for them - talk about motivation!

Saturday will also see the Bluebirds host Westcliff Lionesses in a curtain raiser game, kicking off at noon. Westcliff and Chelmsford have strong links in the ladies teams so this should be a particularly fun game to watch (and play!)

In addition to the usual beer and cider from local breweries (at excellent prices!) we are delighted to welcome the return of our "6 Nations of Gin". Try a gin from each of the countries featured in the 6 Nations and if you can get through 5, you get the 6th gin for free! Last year we saw a strawberry and pepper gin and a mandarin flavoured gin featured so it's exciting to see what Mark comes up with this year!

This year we are especially excited to announce that we will be hosting several street food vendors! Different vendors for Friday and Saturday night (none on Sunday) which means you will be spoilt for choice! Choose from incredible looking burgers, wood fired pizzas, Vietnamese food, waffles, and crepes (final vendors will be announced nearer the time) - get that stomach lined and take on the gin stall!

There will be vegetarian, vegan, dairy free and gluten free options so no matter what your diet, there is something for you!

FINALLY, Saturday night will also feature a live band inside the club house so this weekend is sure to be an action packed festival with something for everyone!
