It is RFU registration time again.

Everyone has to do it.

It takes a few minutes and you are covered for a year.

Currently only 95 of our 525 players are registered to play this season as it stands.

Please don’t ignore this as it is a huge waste of time for your team admin to chase up.

Players over the age of 18 must register annually themselves.

Players under 18 must be registered by their parent of guardian.

You can register to play by logging into the Game Management System (GMS) and completing the quick and easy online registration process. You can also sign up for your 2025/26 membership at the same time.

Please read and follow the step-by-step instructions below to register for Chelmsford RFC. If you have been registered to play in the past, go to Section A. If you are new player go to Section B

Section A: if you need to renew your registration

Log into your account and follow the steps shown in this video and outlined below

1.Log into GMS

If you were registered at a club in a previous season, you will have a GMS account but if you cannot log in:

If you know the email address your GMS account is registered to, but not your password, click 'Forgot password?', and enter your email address. If you do not know the email address your GMS account is registered to, message membership@chelmsfordrugby.club and we will look up your email in GMS and provide it to you.

2.Click the 'Renew Registration' button

3.Review the details of your Club Registration form

4.Click 'Save'

Your registration request is now complete and will receive an email when your club has reviewed this.

Section B: If you have never registered before

Players that have not registered before, complete the steps to register outlined below:

1.Log in. If you do not know your password, click 'Forgot password?'.

2.Click 'Register' in the green box and fill in your details.

3.Click 'Save' and the registration request will be sent to your club for approval.
