
The Club's AGM will be held on Wednesday 20th May at 7:30pm in the Clubhouse.
Any member may attend as long as they hold a valid membership for the 2025/26 season. This includes any member over the age of 18 with an active playing membership, family membership (1 representative per family membership), student, volunteer/coaching or associate membership. After last years AGM, Vice Presidency (excluding those who are Honorary & Life Members) is no longer a membership in its own right and VPs must have an Associate Membership to attend and vote at the AGM.
If you are unable to attend the meeting and would like vote by proxy the form is attached to this notice. You may not ask someone other than the Club Chair to direct your proxy vote on your behalf.
The full AGM pack (inc the draft 2025 accounts) will be sent out via GMS in the next 7 days to all those with a valid membership. The draft accounts will be made available to non-members after the AGM. The minutes of last years meeting can be found on the documents section of the club website.
If you would like anything added to the agenda of the meeting, please message secretary@chelmsfordrugby.club with your request.
Any member may apply for any post at the club including those of Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Club Secretary. The nominations form is in the clubhouse or you can email secretary@chelmsfordrugby.club with your nomination (please include details of who is seconding your nomination). The following committee posts are currently unfilled. Discipline Secretary. Disability Officer. Grants Officer. Safeguarding Officer. We would love to hear from anyone interested in taking on a role.
As per last season. The decision over who will captain the Senior XV's will be made by the teams themselves and this will not be decided at the AGM.
This is your opportunity to get involved in how the club is run so please attend if you can.
