Over 750 kids from 12 local clubs enjoy a fantastic day of Minis rugby at Coronation Park.

Chelmsford RFC welcomed nearly 2000 visitors to the club on Sunday for what remains the longest running (and one of the largest) Minis festival in the county. The boys and girls from Chelmsford were joined by teams from Basildon RFC, Billericay RFC, Burnham-On-Crouch RFC, Chingford RFC, Epping & Upper Clapton RFC, Harlow RFC, Old Cooperians RFC, South Woodham Ferrers RFC, Westcliff RFC and Woodford RFC for a what turned into a fantastic day of rugby at Coronation Park.

All the games were played in a great spirit and despite the slightly chilly conditions, some excellent rugby was played by the 750+ children taking part. Our thanks to all the teams that made the journey to the park, our main sponsor, Woodland Group, and Essex Police for lending us their carparks. We would also like to say a massive thanks to all those who helped organise and run the event on the day. A huge amount of work goes into running a festival of this size and none of this could be achieved without the help and support of our amazing team of volunteers.

We look forward to welcoming you all back next year to celebrate our 50th festival which we hope will be bigger and better than ever!
