At the recent Management Committee Meeting a decision was made to put the AGM back to Wednesday 2nd December due to the Coronavirus Pandemic where a number of members who are self isolating/shielding due to their age or underlying medical conditions would not be able to attend. The club are hoping the social distancing restrictions will be lifted and grass roots rugby will be back to normal by this time and a full AGM can go ahead.
It was also agreed that the Clubs Centenary Celebrations would be postponed this season with the exception of a few of the planned events. At this time we have only just entered Stage D of a six Stage return to full grass roots rugby which would detract from the full enjoyment of the Centenary celebrations.
A full programme of events to celebrate one hundred years of Chelmsford Rugby Football Club will go ahead next season.
The Management Committee apologises for any inconvenience this may cause but it is done in the best interest of the Club.
