The Ladies played host to Medway on sunday on a truely beautiful day, if not a little hot for running around for 70 minutes. The ladies expected a tough, physical game and that's exactly what they got.

From the first whistle to the last, the game was a fiercely fought contest by both sides. Chelmsford knowing they needed to win to stand any chance of promotion and Medway wanting to show they are a much improved side from the beginning of the season. And they did not disappoint.

Great team effort from the forwards and backs, a bit scrappy at times but a good final result and a good game all round.

Final result 26-10 taking the ladies to 2nd in the league with four more games to play.

This sunday see's the ladies travel to Tonbridge.
