CRFC u7 sharks narrow victors at Bury St Edmunds

18 Sharks made the long, arduous and windy journey north to face Bury St Edmunds. All the games were played in excellent spirit on our hosts’ fantastic artificial pitch.

The games were all a close run thing, with good tag rugby played by both sides. The results bear this out, both sides winning 7, drawing 2 and losing 7 games.

However despite Niall’s best efforts to score as many tries as possible as a sub for Bury, the Sharks claimed the narrowest of victories, scoring 118 tries to Bury's 116. Our thanks go to Bury St Edmunds for being such good hosts and we look forward to welcoming them back to Corrie Park next year for the return fixture.
