The RFU, working with the Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, and Rangers, introduced a new Love Rugby badge earlier this year , allowing girls to build and develop rugby skills while engaging in off-the-pitch activities such as writing a letter to a Red Rose or baking a treat to boost energy during rugby games.

The Brownies really enjoyed their visit to the club, many of them trying rugby for the first time. Kate from the 1st Moulsham Brownies says "The girls all had such a fun and enjoyable time and all the adults at the club were so helpful and friendly".

Lucy Hawkridge, the girls head coach at Chelmsford Rugby Club says "The club is hoping that many more Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers will be encouraged to try rugby while earning their badges and we encourage any local group wishing to visit the club to get in touch - we would love to hear from you".
