We are very excited to introduce Matt Searle as Chelmsford RFC’s new Head Coach for the 2026/27

Matt joins us with a wealth of rugby experience and is eager to bring new and fresh ideas to Coronation Park.

Having graduated from the University of Roehampton in 2019, Matt was Head Coach at Teddington RFC between June 2022 and September 2024.

In August 2024 Matt took up the post of Head of Rugby at Ipswich School and is now keen to share his rugby philosophy and ideas at Chelmsford in preparation for the 2026/27 season.
