Peter had been a member of the club since 1971, and the term ‘stalwart’ cannot begin to describe his contribution to the life of the club over that period, serving as player, vice-Chair, Chairman and then President from 1996 until 2008, and then resuming this duty in 2024. In that time he was one of the driving forces in planning, fundraising and executing the construction of our wonderful clubhouse in 2006.

His role both as an ambassador of the club and ever-present supporter on the touch line means that we will all have strongly-formed warm impressions of Peter, none more so than his team mates from the original Undertakers. And we look forward to hearing their stories of past adventures!

At this sad time our thoughts are with his family and friends, many of whom will be part of the CRFC rugby family.

Go well Peter, Many Minds One Heart. You will be greatly missed.
