This weekend sees the first home games of the season with the 1st XV facing Braintree in an old rivalry kicking off at 3pm. This is also the first time in a few years that the Lang Cup has been up for grabs - a traditional one off prize named for Chelmsford member and player Bob Lang; this is the first time the cup has been played for since Bob passed away last year.
The 2nd XV also kick off at 3pm, facing Eton Manor III, whilst our U21s face Witham's 2nd XV.
There will also be a curtain raiser with the Chelmsford U15 girls playing Robert Clack school, kicking off at 1.30pm.
The clubhouse will be open from 1pm so come and check out the newly refurbished bar (and cheaper beer!) and watch some cracking local rugby!
