Men in pink get off to winning ways in Essex Division 4 East

The development XV started the league season with bang. On a hot and salutary Saturday, captain Moore had assembled and combination of old and new, big and small, to take on Writtle Wanderers 2nd XV.

Regular tries were scored throughout both halves as Loughborough student, Ben Kerwin was awarded man of the match for his brace of tries. Newcomer Bryce Peters was welcomed by a number of Chelmsford 'royalty' including front rowers Steve Allen, Callum Booth and Chris Seeley.
