After last weeks hard going at Southend we retained some players from last week and tried some new combinations. We expected another hard day with some good teams entering. In the group stages we had some very hard fought games where the boys really showed how much drive and determination they have. Results..

This meant that we topped our group and were du eto play Upminster who convincingly won the other group, in the Cup Final. The boys really stepped up to the plate and fought hard in a captivating game of rugby, both defences were solid, unfortunately Upminster just edged the first half with one try which proved the difference between the two sides.

May I say how proud Simon and myself were of how the team never lost hope and fought all the way to the end. This was by far the best this young squad has played. Fantastic! Well done!
